anyone here who is expert or knowledgeable about PLC stuff?
i got this assignment in my plc(programmable logic controller). i dont know how to do it. anyone here who can answer it for me... i just started taking up the class a week ago. here is the question...
a motor is to be started using a start push button and stop using a separate button. three lamps will be used to monitor the status of the motor. a thermal overload relay is also added to provide motor protection.
can anyone send me the circuit diagram for this question...

there are 2 languages in plc: Ladder [american] or grafcet[europe]
I think you're talking about Ladder language I can draw the diagram for you.
we have:
-pushbotton PB1 on
-pushbotton PB2 off
-green Lamp L1 shows motor is off
-yellow Lamp L2 shows motor is on
-Red Lamp L3 shows motor is overheated
-pushbutton PBH closes when circuit is overheated and opens when circuit is not overheated
-Motor M
we need the relays:
Relay1: R1 and its bobine RB1 for pushbutton status
Relay2: R2 and its bobine RB2 for motor circuit feeding
Relay3: R3 and its bobine RB3 for Lamp1 circuit feeding
Relay4: R4 and its bobine RB4 for Lamp2 circuit feeding
Relay5: R5 and its bobine RB5 for Lamp3 circuit feeding
the circuit would be:
