How to open stovetop espresso w / rubber gasket new sealed so tight not even hammering it worked ... any idea?
Water rises from the bottom.
Never hammer it! I've never had a problem with loosening the Moka pot parts, but here's something you can try: Set the bottom in a bowl filled with ice water (Keep it under the threads) Pour boiling water into the reservoir top (It needs 1 / 2 full) Wait for about 30-60 seconds Remove from ice water, hot water dump Twist apart. You may want to set it flat, use the valve to retain top constant basis & twist. The contraction and expansion of bottom-top, because the temps should loosen their grip.
