1.can i make coffee in it or is it just a pot
2.whats up with the stick/pump thingy on top of the pot what does it do
3.how do i make coffee in it if that's possible
This is a "Press Pot" ...here is how to use the pot:
Use 1 rounded tablespoon per cup (about 4oz) per 4oz of water used.
Add boiling water steadily, saturating all the grounds.
Use a long spoon or a chopstick to stir the grounds; this is optional, but aids in complete extraction.
Let steep about 4 minutes.
After steep time is done, plunge down the filter. Grasp the handle firmly, get a solid grip on the plunger stick and
start pressing down.Keep plunger straight otherwise grounds will escape into the upper portion. Your coffee grounds are now at the bottom of the pot and your coffee is ready.
When pouring with a press pot, it's always a good idea to hold on to the lid so things don't slide around or accidently pop out.
