Design Milk Pitcher: Need opinions / ideas please?
My design began when I realized that a gallon of milk unopened will last past the deadline, while open gallon can go wrong over a week before the date. I believe this happens because once you open a gallon of milk, the jug will trap air inside with milk to spoil causes. (I'd love someone to varify this) I want milk pitcher design that eliminates contact with milk with air;! I think the milk will stay fresh for quite a few days longer. This could be of great benefit to the singles market, because it is very difficult to finish a gallon of milk from yourself before it goes bad. So I'm thinking la accordion / collapsable design style that you push on and it would stay down and keep only the milk or some kind of vacuum seal design? Some ideas about ways to create a milk pitcher that keeps shrinking all off the air, or someone who wants to testify that their milk goes bad before finish it or it would be great ways to keep it fresh.
you take a look at the 3 quart size "box wine" that they sell in the stores grocery and liquor stores. they already have a method to keep air out of wine as used slowly over days or weeks. residual air overnight wine. They can use the same exact package for milk. All they have to do is to change the printing on the box. It also has a knob little valve opens to refill your glass. Wine is a plastic bag inside a rigid cardboard box. and collapses as the liquid drains from through the dispensing spout in turn twist the bottom of the box. You do not have to pick up the box. Go take a look at it. The air never touches the liquid. you you can even put your own milk in to your theory test. Good luck!
