Boiling chicken or meat it turns black - stainless steel pan ...?
When I boil or chicken meat, salt, or stewing beef, water turns black meat even if I am using stainless steel pots. I also have to descend 25 feet dug into the ground with 3 or 4 underground springs running into it and am not using any chlorine. There are no houses closer to me than 1 / 4 mile or so. The water comes straight from that well in my house. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what is causing this? Thanks for any help you can give me.
If I were you, I'd have evaluated my water ... Many large universities will do this for little or no money ... The only thing I can think of is perhaps excessive of iron ... But you'd know this because you'd see the reddish tint in the water ..
